On March 5, Full Sail Real World Education welcomed a panel of experts from The Society of Professional Audio Recording Services (SPARS).

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) March 19, 2007 -- On March 5, Full Sail Real World Education welcomed a panel of experts from The Society of Professional Audio Recording Services (SPARS). Panelists in attendance were: Andrew Kautz, Partner and General Manager of Love Shack Studios and Big Machine Records; Karen Brinton, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Remote Recording; Lee Foster, Studio Manager of Electric Lady Studios; Eric Johnson, Executive Producer, Composer and Sound Designer of Blazing Music Post Production Facility; and Jeff Greenberg, Chief Executive Officer of Village Studios.

The panel provided professional insight to Full Sail students particularly in the Recording Arts Degree Program, and shared their perspectives on the ideal candidate they look for to fill positions in each of their corporations. "It was an honor to host such an accomplished group of individuals representing the leading studios within the industry," said Tammy Gilbert, Vice President of Career Development. "The interaction between the outstanding professionals and our students provides a one-of-a-kind exchange of information that is invaluable for the planning of their future careers."

Students obtaining their degree in Recording Arts become versed in all aspects of the field such as the fundamentals of sound, multimedia, computers, technology and equipment used in the audio recording industry, and the most sophisticated levels of advanced recording arts. Students also learn how to fully operate equipment from basic workstations to the most complex consoles, recording and mixing, as well as sound system design, multi-track recording and the operation of audio hardware.

"The success of the Recording Arts Degree Program is evident in our graduates, and we are very proud of all that they have achieved," said Bill Smith, Program Director of Recording Arts. "In concert production alone, our graduates have gone on to work with the #1 grossing World Tour seven out of the last seven years, have worked on a tremendous amount of GRAMMY-nominated projects, and have been employed by some of the top studios in the world today."

Since 1979, Full Sail Real World Education, a college outside of Orlando, FL, has been an innovative educational leader for those pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. With over 25,000 alumni, graduate credits include work on Oscar, Emmy and GRAMMY-winning projects, best-selling video games and the #1 grossing U.S. concert tour seven out of the last seven years. Full Sail's 178-acre campus proudly welcomes over 5,000 students from 50 states and 37 countries. Currently, Full Sail offers degrees in the following disciplines: Computer Animation, Digital Arts & Design, Entertainment Business, Film, Game Development, Music Business, Recording Arts and Show Production & Touring.
