Designed for professionals, enthusiasts, and advanced amateurs, the Workshops take place on Sundays and weekday evenings at Adorama's retail location, in newly-built classrooms that give students great opportunities to learn from the best instructors in limited class-size settings. With the Digital Basics Workshop You Can Take Control
Newcomers to Digital SLR photography have lots of questions, and the ABC's of Digital Photography and Digital SLRs, taught by photojournalist and photography teacher Steven Hirsch, is the place where these questions can be answered. The all-day workshop (Sunday May 6, 2007, 10AM-5PM; course fee: $125) offers an overview of the entire digital process, from shooting to using Adobe Photoshop, as well as image acquisition and management (also known as 'workflow'). This course is designed for beginners and advanced beginners.

Creative Development Workshop Helps You Hone Your Photographic Vision
Designed for advanced beginners and intermediate photographers who are ready to grow visually, Light, Geometry, Moment aims to build participants' creative photographic vision. Instructor Tod Bryant, a freelance photographer whose clients include AT&T, Xerox, and other blue-chip companies, will guide students to explore both the technical and aesthetic ingredients for successful personal images. There will be assignments, discussions and critiques during this four-week workshop (Tuesdays May 8, 15 & 29, and Monday May 21, 2007, 6:30-8:30PM; workshop fee: $150).
