Rabbi Offers Free Counseling to 100 Callers

Rabbi offers free counseling to 100 callers. And he pays the phone bill!

(PRWEB) April 29, 2007 -- There are freebies and then there is just plain meshugas (craziness, for those who want to settle for the less expressive translation).

"I know it's little meshuga," agrees Pacific Northwest author and educator, Rabbi Yitzchak Goldman, who decided that next week he would offer the first 100 people who contacted him each a free half-hour phone counseling session. Anyone, from any faith or creed from any place in North America is invited to enter. Rabbi Goldman intends to start and complete these calls between Monday Morning, April 30th and Friday afternoon, May 4th.

"I figured there's a lot of people who are not only hesitant to spend money on life-coaches, but would also like to get a different perspective -if there is any ancient wisdom from the vast Talmudic sources that might apply to their lives."

And he'll call you, once you contact him to set up a time. "When people go to counselors, there is that little niggling voice that reminds them how much this is costing them - that they had better make use of their time efficiently - which ironically adds to their anxiety! That alone can be enough to require therapy." Therefore, not only will the session be free of charge, he will be paying for the call.

During the call, Rabbi Goldman plans to help people map out their minds, based on a book that he wrote, The Soul Diet: Ten Steps towards Metaphysical Health, which is a practical nine-week plan to achieving clarity of mind.

"I am going to try hard to zero in on the issues as efficiently and as effectively as I can. In order to do that, I ask that people spend a little time thinking about what they might want to say or both before making the initial contact, and a few minutes before the call."

In order to enter this "counseling contest", one would have to contact him through his web site. Does one have to buy the book in order to qualify for the offer?

"Well, of course, I'd like you to buy my book," he laughs. "But you don't have to. I certainly will not ask you if you have purchased it or plan to purchase it." He'd like you to make the initial contact using his web-form. "I'm not offering free therapy to the spam bots."

To set up a phone appointment, go to http://www.souldiet.com. If you are within the first 100 to contact Rabbi Goldman, you will be contacted via email to set up your phone appointment.
