Hannah Bentley Announces Podcast Series on California’s Global Warming Solutions Act, AB 32, from Bentleyesquire.com

Hannah Bentley today announced the availability from her law corporation’s website of an ongoing podcast series on California’s Global Warming Solutions Act and Climate Change.

Manhattan Beach - Hannah Bentley today announced the availability from her law corporation’s website of an ongoing podcast series on California’s Global Warming Solutions Act and Climate Change. The series, the first two sessions of which are now available, can be accessed from www.bentleyesquire.com/ab32.

With two new reports from the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) documenting both the links between human activities and climate change and the significant likely effects of the phenomenon on humans and species, and with increased debate within the U.S. on federal regulation of greenhouse gases, California and its state agencies are moving forward with a law to reduce statewide emissions to 1990 levels by 2010. Bentley’s podcast series focuses on likely issues and opportunities for California local agencies. Bentley also has an article on the CEQA implications of Climate Change coming out in the May issue of the California Environment Reporter.

While my series is not intended as legal advice, AB 32 poses a number of imminent challenges for local agencies, as well as a number of potential opportunities. My series is intended to help agencies begin grappling with these questions.
Bentley stated, “While my series is not intended as legal advice, AB 32 poses a number of imminent challenges for local agencies, as well as a number of potential opportunities. My series is intended to help agencies begin grappling with these questions.”
