Rhinebeck, NY (PRWEB) May 3, 2007 -- The 2007 Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest, sponsored by WineRacks.com Inc is pleased to announce "The Gallery Wing", a new feature for this year's Fest. In it's continuing expansion towards becoming the Hudson Valley's premier lifestyle event, The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest has invited the multitude of art galleries in the Hudson Valley to exhibit during the Wine & Food Fest taking place at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds September 7th, 8th and 9th.

"We've always supported the Arts as part of the Wine & Food Fest and I felt it was time to more fully integrate the vast artistic community of the Hudson Valley into our event", states Michael Babcock, Fest Producer and President of WineRacks.com. With an anticipated 20,000 attendees, this is a great opportunity for guests to visit many galleries in one stop and learn more about the expansive artistic community in the area. The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest will kick off on Friday evening, September 7th with a Grand Reserve Tasting and Gallery Gala where patrons will have their first opportunity to visit exhibits from some of the fine galleries located in the Hudson Valley. The Gallery Wing will remain open throughout the festival weekend for patrons to browse and enjoy.

Heading into its sixth year, the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest brings together more than 200 wineries, gourmet food and fine art and craft vendors. There will be wine tasting seminars, gourmet-cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs and great musical entertainment as well as a Family Friendly area of kids crafts and other fun activities. New this year will be a special session for members of the wine and hospitality trade.

The Fest is still accepting applications from Galleries that would like to participate. Interested Galleries can visit the Fest website at www.HudsonValleyWineFest.com to download a printable reservation form.
