With Sharon's guidance and encouragement, energetic teens will develop their black-and-white photographic skills as they delve into cameras, film, exposure, developing film, printing, portfolios, print presentation, and personal vision. The learning continues into the evening with darkroom sessions guided by Sharon and the Workshops staff. Participants gain a heightened knowledge of photographic craft, a strong sense of direction in their personal vision, and the desire to make photography part of their everyday lives.
"I loved having Sharon as an instructor, she brought a wonderful feeling to the group and really brought us out of our shells." Isobel Rippel, participant from 2006 Young Photographers Workshop.
