Big Ryde has made the 1st Annual "Girls Gone Riding...for Charity" a mandatory ride for the members of NU World Ryders. This mandate was issued because the goals and objectives for the event are in line with the objectives of their organization.
Chrome Divas North Shore Chapter - Northbrook, Illinois: Originating in Tallahassee, Florida in 2002, Chrome Divas is a female motorcycle organization which was formed to provide a means of camaraderie, community participation, and a national link to all women who ride motorcycles and strive to be known as outstanding citizens in their communities. Helene Rumoro (Director) and Jeanne Dan (Co-Director) from the North Shore Chapter are generously volunteering their time by serving as members of the "Girls Gone Riding...for Charity" planning committee.
In addition, the event is listed on the national website for the Chrome Divas. They are assisting with promoting the ride among female motorcycle enthusiasts all over the country.
Hard Riders - Houston, Texas: The Hard Riders of Houston has set and followed an agenda that has established them as an organization that enjoys a strong collaboration with the community as a whole. The Hard Riders have put smiles on the faces of underprivileged children, visited the sick and shut-in and clothed and fed the homeless in the Houston area. Hard Rider Bridget Boyd is generously volunteering her time by serving as a member of the "Girls Gone Riding...for Charity" planning committee. Bridget has graciously agreed to serve as one of the road captains on ride day.
In addition, the Hard Riders have listed the event on their website to assist with promoting the ride among motorcycle enthusiasts in the southwest region.

Please mark your calendar for Saturday 23 June 2007. Staging for riders departing from the city of Chicago will begin at 8:00 a.m. and we will depart Soldier's Field promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Staging for suburban riders will begin at 9:00 a.m. from Lake Shore Harley Davidson.

Pre-registration for this ride is a must. The registration fee is $20 for riders and $35 for riders with passengers. Proceeds benefit the Chicago Abused Women Coalition. www.cawc.org
