First Responders Attain Vital Visual Information Through CAMMS™ View Building Surveillance Module

Santa Ana, CA headquartered Global Mesh Technologies launches Wireless Building Security Surveillance Module to complement CAMMS™ Wireless Mobile Mesh Network Communication Technology.

Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) May 23, 2007 -- Global Mesh Technologies announces the release of its CAMMS™View Building Surveillance Module. CAMMS™View provides instant situational awareness for first responders, security firms, campus police and others requiring immediate visual information in both critical and non-critical situations.

The CAMMS™View module connects directly to existing analog or digital video surveillance systems - there is no need to change or modify the existing surveillance system components. The surveillance video is transmitted securely to a CAMMS™ (Command Anywhere Mobile Mesh Software) broadband mobile mesh network enabling users to share the live video either on site or from another location. CAMMS™View enables surveillance video to be streamed either 24/7 or upon an alarm activation signal. The video can also be securely streamed to the Internet, if required.

"A notable feature of the CAMMS™View Building Surveillance Module is its ability to store digital files for downloading to a CAMMS™ mesh. This enables first responders to see not only inside the building (views from existing cameras) but also to view the building's floorplans or evacuation routes, for example. This data combined with the live video enables timely, well-informed decisions to be made pertaining to the situation and greatly increases efficiency and safety." states Jerry Underhill, President of Global Mesh Technologies.

While CAMMS™View's initial installation areas will be banks, hospitals, courts, campuses, ports and airports, the applications are limitless. CAMMS™View is also a cost-effective way to establish temporary or "on demand" video surveillance systems for demonstrations, sporting events, concerts or any situation where live visual information is required.

About Global Mesh Technologies
Global Mesh Technologies (GMT) was formed to leverage products developed by our parent company, Large Screen Display Rentals LLC (LSDR). LSDR designs, engineers and manufactures custom large format video & data display systems and services both national and international customers. These systems are used primarily in command and control environments to display and share information. LSDR has manufactured systems for the National Hurricane Center, Dept. of Homeland Security, fire and police dispatch centers & utilities companies.

GMT developed CAMMS™ (Command Anywhere Mobile Mesh Software) to enable interoperable communications. CAMMS™ software enables public safety agencies to communicate seamlessly through a totally secure, scalable mobile mesh (ad hoc) network. Local, state and federal agencies can share information in real time, anywhere.

CAMMS™ mobile mesh software, used in conjunction with off-the-shelf networking hardware and standard Windows notebook, hand-held or tablet computers enables broadband mobile mesh. The CAMMS™ software controls the networking hardware to establish an ad hoc, self-forming, self-healing network and provides an easy-to-use interface to enable non-technical users to make full use of the capabilities of the software: share live digital video, white boarding, instant messaging, file sharing and more.
