xchange is pleased to announce the Best of WiMAX World Europe Awards, which recognizes leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies. Awards were presented to six distinguished recipients yesterday at the WiMAX World Europe Conference & Expo, held May 29-31, in Vienna, Austria.
Vienna, Austria (PRWEB) May 31, 2007 -- Live from WiMAX World Europe -- xchange magazine presented the Best of WiMAX World Europe 2007 Awards to six distinguished recipients. The awards recognized leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies. Nominations were open to exhibitors and sponsors of the WiMAX World Europe Conference, held May 29-31, in Vienna, Austria, and were selected by a judging panel of experts from the WiMAX community.
The winners were recognized during the WiMAX World Europe Conference at a cocktail reception following the close of the first day's convention sessions at the Austria Center Vienna. Eliot Weinman, president of Trendsmedia, and Mike Saxby, group publisher of xchange, presented the awards in six categories, including the Industry Choice award, which was selected by an on-site vote of conference attendees. The winners will be featured in the July issue of xchange magazine and on the WiMAX World and xchange Web sites.
