Fun And Safe Driving Published The List Of Gas Saving Myths

Gas prices are soaring all over the country. Gas-saving myths are floating all over the net. Fun and Safe Driving offers a comprehensive list of fuel-saving myths and tips with expert explanation.

McLean, VA (PRWEB) June 6, 2007 -- The number of fuel-saving tips has skyrocketed recently, and Fun and Safe Driving provides the guidance on how to tell the right tips from the wrong ones.

Growing gas prices have crossed the three dollar mark almost all over the US. This growth has generated a demand for gas saving tips, and everybody is trying to publish a home cooked list. Some of those tips make sense, some don't, and some may have a limited use, depending on the circumstances, said Fun and Safe Driving site owner Mikhail Alexandrov, a former car engine designer and an avid driver with 35 years of worldwide driving experience.

A waterfall of advice has confused less experienced drivers. While quite a few of those tips make sense, there are plenty of wrong ones, and there are tips that require at least a marginal understanding of how stuff works to be applied correctly
In an attempt to help its audience, Fun and Safe Driving deviated from its main topic of safe and enjoyable driving and published the list of most popular gas saving tips divided into "no-brainer", "grey area", and "urban myths" categories. Every tip has an explanation of why and how it works, or why it does not work.

"A waterfall of advice has confused less experienced drivers. While quite a few of those tips make sense, there are plenty of wrong ones, and there are tips that require at least a marginal understanding of how stuff works to be applied correctly," says Mikhail Alexandrov, founder of Fun and Safe Driving. "I just thought I might use my knowledge and experience to explain what works and what not in the world of gas saving tips, and why it is so."

Clean and logical expert explanation accompanying every gas saving tip will make it much easier for a novice driver to decide which tips she wants to use and which ones she wants to discard.

Fun and Safe Driving is devoted to online promotion of safe and responsible driving. Site features driving forums, driving encyclopedia, driving resources, and mapquest driving directions.
