New "3C" Infant Carrier with Breastfeeding Privacy Cover and Changing Pad

Summit Baby Inc is launching a new baby carrier with breastfeeding Moms in mind. The carrier combines all the best features of carriers from around the world and throughout history. The open minded solution is carried out and made of modern materials and using the latest technology.

Summit, NJ (PRWEB) June 21, 2007 -- Summit Baby Inc. is launching a unique new baby carrier. "The '3C Carrier' combines the best features of carriers throughout history and adds new and novel features to make it unique," reveals Cornelia Tuoriniemi, President and CEO.

Finally you can leave your infant swaddled and feel secure that you can put her down -- or pass her to Dad or Grandma and they can take over carrying her. No complicated instructions. No fear of waking baby. 3C fits all caregivers. And you can put 3C down like a portable bassinet. It even works as a receiving blanket when you want to show off your little one.
"Thankfully this is a time when attachment parenting & babywearing are again becoming a way of life so it's timely to blend the rich tradition of babywearing with today's comfort-features."

Mixing native and historical elements from South-American Indian Slings which offer comfortable over the shoulder straps and North-American Indian Papoose design having a straight back support and swaddled cocoon position with modern breastfeeding covers and the convenience of a changing pad creates the strikingly different profile of 3C from other slings or carriers.

These diverse features were all combined by Euro-American innovation and origami-related study on how to fold a square piece of foam to make a baby carrier. Eventually everything was made possible by modern materials and fastener technology. The final product is carefully manufactured in Europe. "We call it by the nickname 'Kukkaro' - 'purse' (Finnish) to keep something valuable & safe, or we call it by it's function, in short '3C'."

C is for Carry
"In a world full of all variation of slings and wraps with complicated tying/wearing instructions that require maneuvering your baby up, down and sideways to get her into (or out of) the carrier -- Now finally a carrier that you can just slip on and off without even waking up your little one!" continues an enthusiastic Tuoriniemi.

"Finally you can leave your infant swaddled and feel secure that you can put her down -- or pass her to Dad or Grandma and they can take over carrying her. No complicated instructions. No fear of waking baby. 3C fits all caregivers. And you can put 3C down like a portable bassinet. It even works as a receiving blanket when you want to show off your little one."

3C has a firm elongated 24-inch neck and back support to keep a newborn's spine and neck straight. Because of this fantastic support, this revolutionary carrier can be used even with most preemies.

C is for Cover
The 3C Carrier has a patent pending breastfeeding cover attached around the rim of the bassinet opening. When not used, the cover folds down. However, Mom can easily and discreetly breastfeed her baby in public by pulling the cover over her shoulder for privacy creating a private breastfeeding environment. The cover also protects a newborn against sun and weather.

C is for Change
The 3C Carrier opens flat to be a changing pad on the go. Mom does not need to carry a separate padded changing pad. The tail of the carrier easily houses one or two diapers and pack of wipers. Summit Baby "Parachute" -- the world's lightest, palm fitting, changing pad protector is recommended in order to prevent the carrier from soiling.

Summit baby, Inc evolved from Dewellton LLC, a Finnish garment manufacturer, developing innovative and useful products for the juvenile market.
