Three entry categories - America the Beautiful, Urban Revival and Family Affair - focus on compelling images of everyday folks and families working together to beautify and restore natural environments.

Portland, OR (PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- Peaceful Valley Earth Friendly Clothing & Gifts (www.peacefulvalleygifts.com) announced today that it is sponsoring the 2007 Green Up America Photo Contest in an effort to raise a collective public awareness of environmental conservation efforts and celebrate the people engaged in those efforts.

The nationwide contest invites submissions of compelling photographic images in three categories - America the Beautiful, Urban Revival and Family Affair. Amateur photographers at least 18 years of age may submit up to six images depicting the beauty of a natural environment or wildlife in a natural habitat, people engaged in urban renewal efforts or families working together in conservation efforts. Prizes including Peaceful Valley gift certificates and customized greeting cards made from the winner’s images will be awarded in each category. The contest entry deadline is September 15, 2007.
