Recently promoted to Sales, Robert Yorey Jr. of Alpine Aromatics (NJ), has already expanded his already vast Northeast US territory to Dominican Republic, India, Taiwan, and Canada. Through extensive internet searches and a little help from some java, Robert continues to uncover new markets.

Piscataway, NJ (PRWEB) July 7, 2007 -- Recently promoted to sales, Robert Yorey, Jr. of Alpine Aromatics (Piscataway, NJ) has already expanded his already vast Northeast US territory to Dominican Republic, India, Taiwan, and Canada. Through extensive Internet searches and a little help from some java, Robert continues to uncover new markets.

Alpine Aromatics International, Inc., custom creates and manufactures fragrances for Personal Care Products, Household Products, Home/Auto Air Care, Industrial Products, and Fine Fragrance just to name a few. Robert accepted the responsibilities of Northeast Sales Executive in March of 2006.

Since his inception back in 1994, Robert Yorey, Jr. has had his eyes on the bigger picture of his role at Alpine Aromatics. Originally hired as a warehouse worker, no one quite knew that Robert would have numerous successes within the company, and climb the ladder to Northeast and International Sales. Along the way, Robert has taken such roles as Fragrance Compounder, Traffic Manager, Assistant Plant Foreman, Purchasing Agent, and now Sales. Only a little over one year into his Sales career, Robert has managed to grow business within his Northeast US sector and open new markets overseas. "It's tough when you focus only domestically in such a saturated market," says Robert. "By burning the midnight oil, I soon found that there was such a untapped resource still lurking overseas and in the Canadian regions." Having 300 plus accounts domestically still isn't enough to discourage Robert from branching out and taking on more territory. "I enjoy the challenge of expanding on Alpine's steady growth in exports...and in this global marketplace, the Internet and communication technologies put you where you need to be."

Robert has actively participated in several industry-related organizations such as FMA, SACI, ISSA, and the SDA. "Staying visible and being aware of industry trends and compliances help me keep my finger on the pulse of this changing industry. I couldn't imagine doing anything else," Robert boasts. Along side of Alpine Aromatics' company president and mentor, John Yorey, Robert will be attending this year's Cosmoprof Exhibit at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alpine will be exhibiting various fragrance creations for today's growing personal care, home air care, and spa product lines. Exhibiting dates will be July 15th - 17th.

The major advantage to Robert's repertoire is his experience with needs. As a Traffic Manager, Robert knew how important service, costs, and lead times were...hands on. As a Purchasing Agent, he understood and faced supply and demand concerns, price increases, and inventory control. "It's extremely helpful to have been on the other end with needs and service demands," he says. "Being on this side of the table, I don't empathize, I sympathize...and react accordingly."
