Infidelity Expert Reveals Link Between Separate Vacations and Summer Infidelity

Link discovered between separate vacations and summer infidelity. Infidelity expert exposes separate vacation tactics used to facilitate summer flings, summer infidelity and short-term summertime extramarital affairs

(PRWEB) July 11, 2007 -- "A spouse or significant other who suddenly suggests taking separate vacations this year, could be laying the groundwork for having a summer fling." says infidelity expert Ruth Houston, founder of InfidelityAdvice.com and author of Is He Cheating on You? - 829 Telltale Signs. According to Houston, separate vacations play a prominent role in summer flings and short-term summertime extramarital affairs. Houston says, "Many men who'd never even consider cheating on their mates at other times of the year, eagerly anticipate and actually plan on having a summer affair. Separate vacations are usually an integral part of those plans."

Houston exposes some of the separate vacation schemes cheating men use to facilitate these summer affairs:

Summer Homes

Some men routinely send their wife and kids to a time share or vacation home for the summer; or to the lake, the shore, or the mountains for a week or two.

Dream Vacations

Other cheating men treat their wife or girlfriend with a week at a world-class spa or other dream vacation they know she can't resist.

Extreme Sports or Rugged Outdoor Trips

Some cheating husbands invent fictitious fishing, camping, rafting, rock-climbing or similar trips, knowing that extreme sports or outdoor adventures with other men are unlikely to be questioned by the women in their lives.

Counterfeit Conventions and Bogus Business Trips

Men who frequently travel for business can usually fake extra business trips to camouflage a summer affair.

Macho Sex Sprees
Younger men, cheating boyfriends in their 20's and early 30's, take tips with like-minded philanderers to hot vacation spots where they sample as many available women as possible in the allotted time.

Safeguarding Relationships from Summer Infidelity

Houston acknowledges that not every man who wants to take a separate vacation has cheating on his mind. But she advises women to safeguard their relationships, while giving their husbands or boyfriends the benefit of the doubt. Houston says, "The key is not to make it easy for him to cheat. Remember, these men are not hard-core cheaters. If a summer fling looks like more trouble than it's worth, most of them won't take the chance."

Houston suggests a few preventive measures women can take while giving their partners the benefit of the doubt.

  • Instead of separate vacations, choose a vacation spot where both spouses can participate in activities they enjoy. Many resorts have programs for children from infants to teens, leaving the couple ample time to pursue separate pursuits during the day and still enjoy each other's company at night.

  • Accompany him to summer conventions and conferences, or on summer business trips. Or arrange to meet him there.

  • If he wants an outdoor adventure, look into one of the many kinds of adventure travel vacations for families or couples.

  • Instead of going to a summer home, stay in the city this year. Send the kids to summer camp and honeymoon at home, by planning a summer's worth of romantic evenings and weekends while the kids are away.
