Museum Exhibits Florida Artist's Pet Portraits

Fine artist Eric Bossik is celebrating the exhibition of three of his pet portraits at the Cornell Museum of Art & History.

Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 2, 2007 -- Fine artist Eric Bossik (http://www.bossik.com) is celebrating the exhibition of three of his pet portraits at the Cornell Museum of Art & History in Delray Beach, Florida. The exhibition, known as "For the Love of Dogs," runs until September 8th and includes his privately commissioned oil paintings, which depict three dogs.

Prior to the exhibition, Eric's paintings --Denver, Dakota, and Aspen -- were featured in an article in the Sun-Sentinel, a popular Florida newspaper. The article, A Work of Arf, shows that these paintings made a big difference in the life of Lisa Manzione, the private collector who commissioned them. Eric created a painting of her dog, Aspen, before the Golden Retriever passed away.

Eric is utilizing the exhibition at the Cornell Museum to show the true spirit of his canine subjects. "In the museum, the paintings are perfectly illuminated, showing the subtleties of each dog that I've depicted," he says. "As a result, the public is able to see that each dog's life force has been captured on canvas."

Eric continues to work on privately commissioned paintings, helping pet owners preserve memories of their beloved animals.
