Beet, Inc Announces Integration with Amazon Flexible Payments Service

Beet's NECODO.com is the initial downloadable music site to launch with the new Amazon FPS
Amazon FPS will allow Amazon customers to transact with NECODO friction free simply by using the same accounts and payment instructions they use for purchases on Amazon.com - without having to re-enter information.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 7, 2007 -- Beet, Inc, a Seattle-based technology company that is creating a collection of innovative, web-based digital music stores, announced today that it is integrating with the Amazon Flexible Payment Service (Amazon FPS), just released today in limited beta by Amazon Web Services. Each of Beet's sites targets a niche market genre that allows users to focus their shopping experience in their area of interest. An important pioneering feature is that participants are able to experience what others with similar music tastes are listening to within a novel social networking framework.

Beet's first music site, www.NECODO.com, is centered on electronic music and its myriad sub-genres. Founding Partner, Vasili Zolotov, says "It is crucial to Beet that the experience is as straightforward as possible. That's why we felt it was imperative that we work with the Amazon Flexible Payment Service. By integrating with FPS, any of the tens of millions of active Amazon.com customer accounts can be downloading music in about a minute and first time users in less than two. Beet's mission is bringing the best possible listening and shopping experience to our customers; Amazon knows more about processing transactions than anyone else. We can concentrate on what we do well and FPS can manage the rest."

Steve Rabuchin, Amazon Web Services Director of Developer Relations, says, "Amazon FPS will allow Amazon customers to transact with NECODO friction free simply by using the same accounts and payment instructions they use for purchases on Amazon.com - without having to re-enter information."

Beet has timed the launch of NECODO with the release of Amazon FPS in order to take advantage of the synergy that the two ground-breaking technologies will have on the purchase of electronic music. As the Company launches future sites in the vibrant and rapidly growing niche-music markets, utilizing FPS simplifies the enrollment process for every type of music shopper.

About Beet, Inc.: Beet is a Seattle-based company creating a unique and efficient approach to offering a collection of innovative, web-based digital music stores. NECODO, the first such store, serves the electronic music fan within a novel, social networking environment.
