SSI's Building Safety Program Has Been Updated and will be Back in DC by Popular Demand

Are government and private buildings in the nation's capital safe from a terrorist attack? In light of the recent attack in Glasgow and thwarted attacks in the US and Britain that question and others will be answered during a two-day seminar entitled "Building Safety and the Terror Threat" provided by Miami-based Security Solutions International (SSI). SSI is the leading counter terrorism training company for Federal, State and local law enforcement in addition to security professionals across the country.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 10, 2007 -- The two-day program will take place November 15th and 16th, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at The Carlyle Suites located at 1731 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W. in Washington, DC. The cost is $299.00 per person.

Topics to be covered include an overview on the terror threat, how to detect and recognize a threat, responding to a terror threat, instructions on measures to improve a building's security, and reducing premise liability.

The training program is tailored specifically for building managers, security officers, hotel and resort managers, architects and engineers, EMS personnel and law enforcement.

The presenter will be an Israeli counter terror expert, who will offer extensive case studies and video footage, and on day two things that can be done to protect buildings and other facilities about this threat.
