Local Tidewater Virginia Establishment Hosting Entertainer Showcase
A free to the public entertainer showcase event will be held on August 20 from 6-10 p.m. at Paradocks East Coast Grille, 4124 Chesapeake Square Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23320. This showcase event includes musicians who have entertained at the Mondays@Paradocks open mic events during the past six months. The event will be hosted by Paradocks Management Corporation's Entertainment DirectorJoe Maniscalco.
Chesapeake, VA (PRWEB) August 12, 2007 -- Paradocks Management Corporation, Chesapeake, VA, is hosting an entertainer showcase on August 20 from 6-10 p.m. The event will be held at the Paradocks East Coast Grille restaurant, 4124 Chesapeake Square Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321.
The event is free and open to the public.
The showcase includes more than 25 musicians who have entertained at the "Mondays@Paradocks" Open Mic events during the past six months. These entertainers will be added to the roster for possible employment by Paradocks Management Corporation, Chesapeake, VA.
The Mondays@Paradocks events have been hosted by international entertainer and Norfolk native Joe Maniscalco who has been named Entertainment Director for Paradocks.
Paradocks is opening a second establishment -- across from the Greenbrier Mall at 801 Eden Way North, Chesapeake, VA 23320 -- on August 27 and will be using entertainment at both locations.
"We are pleased with the response we received from all musicians in Hampton Roads," noted Maniscalco. "Entertainers from Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Yorktown and Williamsburg showcased their talent (see listing) for us and this event on August 20 is our way of showing our appreciation.
"It is also an excellent opportunity for each entertainer to be seen and heard by special Paradocks guests and patrons, booking agencies and promoters, as well as convention groups," explained Maniscalco.
"In addition, with technical support from Don Gill, Sound by Doc Parker Production, and Norman Harrell, we will be recording the event - and each entertainer will receive a copy of the CD, " he said.

Paradocks East Coast Grille is a favorite restaurant / night spot for patrons hailing from all of Hampton Roads. An Outer Banks-themed family-oriented sports grille, Paradocks caters to families as well as those seeking happy-hour and night-time entertainment. There are both smoking and non-smoke areas as well.

A full-time, professional entertainer, Maniscalco is a talented singer / songwriter. He plays many musical instruments, including guitar, trumpet, flute, harmonica and the steel pan - a feat not many have mastered. Many of his songs showcase his Elle Minnette steel pan which he visited the Port of Spain, Trinidad/Tobago to obtain. In addition, he frequently amazes his audience by playing two trumpets - simultaneously and in harmony.
