EZTakes DVD Manufacture On-Demand (MOD) Service Goes Live With Thousands of Movies

EZTakes, the provider of the world's largest catalog of downloadable DVDs, now also offers consumers a physical delivery option.

Northampton, MA (PRWEB) August 15, 2007 -- EZTakes has started offering thousands of DVD titles for sale through its new MOD service, which allows consumers to order DVDs on-line. Because EZTakes burns, packages and ships these DVDs at the time of order, inventory costs are close to zero, stock outages are unheard of and fulfillment processing is dramatically simplified. The system has the capacity to hold literally millions of titles without needing a warehouse. The same digital inventory serves customers who download their own DVDs and consumers who order physical DVDs. In the future, EZTakes will expand this offering to allow any retailer to offer their in-store customers DVDs on-demand without needing an expensive kiosk and without taking up limited shelf space. The MOD service, which was in beta testing, is now in full production and is available for the majority of DVD titles that EZTakes offers through its download-to-burn (D2B) service.
