¡Sorpresa! Announces Partnership with Hamptons Film Festival for Hispanic Heritage Youth Film Competition

Children's network promotes Latino culture through youth filmmaking.

Network announced today that it has joined as a partner and sponsor of the 15th Anniversary Hamptons International Film Festival to be held October 17th - 21st, 2007. The ¡Sorpresa! Youth Film Competition is a new signature program that will be part of the Hamptons International Film Festival's Youth Media Program for youth ages 6 to 17.

¡Sorpresa! will be working with area school districts, community and cultural organizations, its multiplatform operators and digital community to promote film submissions that showcase Hispanic culture and identity. ¡Sorpresa! will select five finalists and these films will be shown at the 15th Anniversary Hamptons International Film Festival and will be aired on ¡Sorpresa! throughout Hispanic Heritage Month which concludes on October 15th.
