Red Hot for the Chili Peppers? Win an Awesome Skateboard Deck from HMV.ca

HMV.ca is giving away yet another cool prize in their HMV Underground contest.

Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) August 22, 2007 -- HMV.ca is giving away yet another cool prize in their HMV Underground contest. Centering on the extremely popular and ever arresting Red Hot Chili Peppers, HMV.ca is giving away a branded "Stadium Arcadium" skateboard deck. Another of over 30 major prizes in the HMV Underground contest promotion designed to knock your sock off.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers rise to fame has been a gradual one. The bands first real commercial success occurred in 1991 with the release of album "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", which sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The Chili Peppers have over the years given us many memorable songs such as "Give it Away", "Under the Bridge" and "Suck my Kiss".

More recently the Red Hot Chili Peppers have mastered the art of album production with three hugely popular and equally decorated albums released in succession. "Californication" released in 1999, "By the Way" released in 2001 and "Stadium Arcadium" released in 2006 have each had their share of success. The Chili Peppers have had a total of eleven #1 singles, and set the record for most units sold for album "Stadium Arcadium" which sold 1,100,000 copies internationally in a one week period. It is easy to understand why this prize is worth the effort.

The "Contest" is set to begin on August 21, 2007 and will run until 11:59 p.m. EST on October 1, 2007 and is open to all Canadian residents who are the age of majority or older. What is more, there are two ways to qualify for one of over 30 prizes. First, visit a HMV retail location and obtain an official "Back-Door" entry access pass, or visit http://www.hmv.ca and click on the contest entry banner. Each entrant will receive 5 entry ballots, which they will have the pleasure of allocating to the prize they are intent on winning.
