Mother & Son Create a SAAFER Solution for U.S. Alternative Fuel Research

Mother & Son Create a SAAFER Solution for U.S. Alternative Fuel Research and send call for researchers to visit www.SAAFER.org to apply for grants.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 17, 2007 -- As the country begins to identify weaknesses concerning the consumption of foreign fossil fuels, an ordinary mother and son have combined efforts to make some extraordinary changes. Damon Vance and Kay Vance, who together share over 50 years of business experience, recently incorporated Supporting Advancements in Alternative Fuel & Energy Research (SAAFER). SAAFER is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on awarding annual program grants to progressive researchers across the country searching for alternative solutions for fuel and energy. SAAFER's ongoing annual objective is to receive $10 from 1 percent of the American population. The non-profit aspires to be largest provider in the United States of publicly funded research grants.

As an increasing trend to find fault, point fingers and debate data become commonplace among our country's politicians and citizens, SAAFER is focused on finding solutions. One of the non-profit's many objectives is to identify feasible research that offers an immediate reduction in our country's oil consumption. Once a project has been selected, that project will receive 100 percent of SAAFER's annual profits accumulated from public donations and decal/magnet sales. SAAFER remains unbiased in its preference of alternative fuels, believing the imbalance of U.S. energy sources will require multiple technological solutions to commence the process of a national self sustainability realization.

SAAFER's origin comes from a belief that the people of the United States have waited long enough for alternatives to foreign energy. If self serving politicians and corporations are unwilling to aggressively make the movement towards alternative energy a priority, then SAAFER trusts the public will. SAAFER's website (www.saafer.org) offers visitors informative news articles, current research projects, discussion forums and a place to make donations for research.

Interested researchers wishing to receive a grant can download an application form at www.saafer.org.

For more information on SAAFER or how you can help with research for alternative fuel and energy, please contact Damon Vance or Kay Vance at www.SAAFER.org or 1-877-SAAFER9.
