Innovation Design Agency Brew|SDC Presents 'Design for the Everyday-No Manual Required'

New York innovation design firm Brew|SDC partner, Brock Danner, reveals successful strategy for designing intuitive user interfaces.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 28, 2007 -- Connecting strategy to design, and connecting products and services to users are some of the broad topics to be tackled at Connecting'07, the Icsid/IDSA World Design Congress, October 17-20, 2007.

For four days in San Francisco, designers will congregate at the Masonic Center Auditorium to see and hear industry mavens like congress chair and IDEO co-founder Bill Moggridge, Frog Design founder Hartmut Esslinger, and dean of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, Roger Martin -- among an esteemed list of others.

To build a truly intuitive interface you must have first devised a highly simplified system to anticipate and accommodate the multiple modes of engagement its users require in their everyday lives.
Themed "Virtual and Visceral," Friday's session, October 19, showcases talents from Frog Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and Brew|SDC partner, architect and designer, Brock Danner, who will share the detailed process Brew developed to discover and deploy models of everyday user behavior against design of intuitive user interfaces.

"Bridging real and virtual worlds in relevant, effective ways takes a very practical design approach," cautions Brock Danner. "To build a truly intuitive interface you must have first devised a highly simplified system to anticipate and accommodate the multiple modes of engagement its users require in their everyday lives."

Danner reveals how his design process works within five essential steps in his panel presentation at Connecting'07, "Design for the Everyday, No Manual Required: How Interface Design Yields More Intuitive Results by Integrating Specific Mechanisms of Everyday Human Life."
