Three Workshops in one day highlight an educational October for Adorama's ongoing series of Workshops taught by professional photographers.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 26, 2007 -- Photojournalists, leaf-peepers, food shooters and aspiring documentary photographers will all have a chance this October to upgrade there skills, thanks to Workshops@Adorama (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=WS_List ), the ongoing photography education program hosted by New York camera retailer, Adorama Camera, Inc.
October 2007 Workshops@Adorama highlights include:
- Super Sunday--October 21, when three Workshops will take place simultaneously: Photowalking Workshop in Lower Manhattan with Joe DiMaggio; Photographing Fall Foliage in New York City's Central Park, with Allen Rokach; and Digital Food Photography: Creating Delectable Images, with Lou Manna.
- The Working Photojournalist, a real-world look at succeeding in the high-pressure world of photojournalism taught by award-winning freelance photojournalist Louis Lanzano.
- Developing Your Digital Documentary Project, an intense and inspiring Workshop taught by Steve Simon, for photographers ready to take their personal imaging projects to the next level.
- Creating Your Photographic Style Using Light, Composition & Moment,
a four-session course that goes beyond the basics of composition with Tod Bryant.
- Power Presenting: Create Distinctive Photographic Portfolios and Promotions Fine-Tuned for the New York Market; learn invaluable insights from Gina Alyse Lengyel on how you can design a winning portfolio.
- Adobe Photoshop: Layers and Layer Masks Made Simple with Maria Ferrari.
Started in February 2007, Workshops@Adorama consists of a wide range of hands-on picture-taking sessions for snapshooters and enthusiasts, business and technical advice for professional and aspiring photographers, and inspiring presentations by some of the biggest names in the photography world. Over 40 Workshops have been held so far this year with over 600 people attending these events.
