Covenant Training Center (CTC) Hosts Simunitions' Training Event

The Covenant Training Center - Texas (CTC), a world-class training facility, has been chosen as the location for the Simunition© Scenario Instructor and Safety Course. The mission-focused, operational-readiness training facility currently serves a broad range of qualified customers including law enforcement, military Special Operations, foreign, homeland defense organizations, and corporate guard forces.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 20, 2008 -- The Covenant Training Center - Texas (CTC), a world-class training facility, has been chosen as the location for the Simunition© Scenario Instructor and Safety Course. The 3-day event will be held April 15-17, 2008.

Open to law enforcement and military personnel, students will be immersed in a course designed to provide in-depth, hands-on instruction on scenario-based training program development, training methodologies and execution. The course also covers liability issues and reviews related court cases.

Formerly a U.S. Navy Surface Warfare munitions manufacturing plant facility encompassing over 2000 acres of hostile environments, CTC provides a wide-range of highly-realistic, effective and safe training experiences.

This unique facility, located 20 minutes west of Waco, TX, replicates both rural and large urban environments, with over 140 buildings and structures, including eleven buildings ranging from 4,000 to 66,000 square feet and includes multi-room, multi-floor structures, all capable of scenario-based training and UTM©, Simunitions©, "Blue Bolt", or live fire (bullet trap) configurations. The entire area is fenced with controlled access.
