The Incredible Artist Lore Eckelberry is Featured in the 2008 Gold Medal Exhibition of the Valley Artists Guild
The prestigious group of Valley Artist Guild has selected Lore Eckelberry as one of their exhibiting members for the 60th anniversary 2008 Gold Medal Exhibition.

Two pieces of Lore Eckelberry's were admitted. One of them was the phenomenal painting "Petit Chocolat" that was hung prominently in the main room of the gallery. This painting features a beautiful boy wrapped in a wonderful and strikingly colored blanket. The originality of the composition of colors is so outstanding that it is hard to take the eyes away from this exceptional painting.
The other exceptional painting selected was "Baby with Hat". This shows a gorgeous boy wearing an oversized hat. The boy conveys a certainty of himself with his eyes looking straight at you as if he can read your deepest thoughts. The painting is very beautifully rendered and the colors are a dazzling combination of reds, blues and purple that create a subtle harmony.
The exhibition shows a very talented selection of artists with a high standard of art quality that was juried and the show is a wonderful success.
