On Tuesday, March 11, A Better Tripp Moving and Storage was recognized as a Better Business Bureau "Winner of Distinction." The award is based on an extensive written submission in which applicants must answer six questions about ethics, customer service, and company policy. Additionally, each company had to provide references of customers and suppliers the BBB could contact to verify the submissions. An independent panel of judges evaluated each application and ranked it with others in its category.
The year 2008 marks the second year in a row the company was awarded this accolade by the BBB for its superior commitment to ethics, overall excellence, and quality in the workplace. A Better Tripp will be honored at a luncheon at the InterContinental Hotel on Wednesday, May 7, where they will receive their Award of Distinction. The company is also in the running for the BBB Pinnacle Award, which will be presented at the luncheon to honor the standout "Winner of Distinction" in each business category. A Better Tripp has also received multiple BBB Gold Star Awards for no registered complaints three years running.
AngiesList.com Super Service Award
In 2007, A Better Tripp Moving and Storage received the Super Service Award from AngiesList.com. For a nominal yearly fee, the 600,000-plus member network gives homeowners the opportunity to access, review, and rate service and maintenance companies in over 250 categories. It only takes one post for a company to be added to the list. However, companies cannot self-post nor can members stack ratings for or against a company, as they are only allowed one review per individual company in a six-month period.
In 2007, A Better Tripp maintained an "A" rating among AngiesList members. AngiesList members logged few or no complaints on the site making A Better Tripp eligible for the prestigious Super Service Award -a feat that less than five percent of the hundreds of businesses on the website have accomplished.
