Ceilings of Hope Donor Program Created to Improve the Care Environment for Veterans and Children During Hospital Stays

Ceiling Scenes has created a donor program, Ceilings of Hope, to help improve the the healing ambience during hospital stays for veterans and children. Given recent negative publicity of conditions in our nation's veterans hospitals, this program will allow individuals to improve the immediate environment where veteran receive medical care or physical therapy. Children also benefit by helping to distract them from the reason they are hospitalized.
Although these tiles cannot improve the actual medical care our veterans receive, they do provide an active distraction from their injuries and if but for a moment, visually and psychologically transports them to a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place.

Holland, Mich. (PRWEB) May 15, 2008 -- Ceiling Scenes, a Holland, Michigan based company, has announced a new program, Ceilings of Hope™, that allows individuals and corporations to sponsor the placement of digitally imprinted acoustic ceiling tiles, light lenses or DuraScene™ panels in the children's or veterans' hospital of their choice. By providing the necessary funding for these hospitals to obtain imprinted tiles, individuals, corporations or organizations can take an active role in improving the care environment of children and veterans.

The tiles improve the Healing Ambiance™ and aid in the reduction of stress for our nation's children or healing veterans as they seek care from healthcare professionals. The beautiful images offered on these tiles help distract the patients and soften the "clinical feel" of the environment where they are receiving care.

Currently, Ceiling Scenes has installations throughout the country in various children's and veterans hospitals. One of these is Advocate Hope Children's Hospital where Child Life Specialist Melissa Cavanaugh states "A major part of my job is to help children cope with hospitalization…..Distraction is key to overcoming pain. This [product has allowed us to better serve our patients and is a huge satisfier."

Recent negative publicity has highlighted deteriorating hospital conditions that our nation's injured veterans encounter during their care. Ceilings of Hope™provides an opportunity for individual or corporate donors to help improve the physical surroundings of veterans while they are in the hospital or during their therapy sessions. "Although these tiles cannot improve the actual medical care our veterans receive, they do provide an active distraction from their injuries and if but for a moment, visually and psychologically transports them to a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place." says Larry Loser (low-sir), President of Applied Visual Concepts, the parent company of Ceiling Scenes.

The process is fairly straightforward; a special donor form is available directly from Ceiling Scenes or their website, www.ceilingsofhope.com. The form is filled out by selecting the level of sponsorship, indicating the hospital of their choice, and submitting the form to the hospital's financial, purchasing or endowment department and a copy to Ceiling Scenes. Benefactors can designate their gift in memory of a loved one or on behalf of an individual or organization. They can also choose to remain anonymous. Applied Visual Concepts will coordinate the visual needs of the chosen hospital and provide a 15% discount of the benefactors' total gift back to the selected hospital's endowment fund thereby increasing the actual value of each donation.

Information on how you, your company or organization can become a Ceilings of Hope™ Benefactor can be obtained by contacting Applied Visual Concepts at 616-928-0817 or visiting their website www.ceilingsofhope.com or www.ceilingscenes.com.
