There are five levels to the FAME program - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum VIP and Diamond Elite. Each time an Absolute Poker player participates in a real-money game, they'll earn STATUS Points. The number of STATUS Points earned in a one-month period defines a player's FAME STATUS level and determines the benefits they are eligible to receive.
Some of those unique benefits include the ability to buy gas with CREDITS, access to Absolute Poker's new Rewards Store featuring the most sought-after merchandise, tickets to special events, the ability to create private tournaments, 1-2-1 customer support, a 10% discount on merchandise, the ability to exchange CREDITS for cash and a 9% interest bearing account.
To access the benefits, players earn CREDIT by playing in real money poker games. As players become more famous by improving their STATUS levels, they'll earn CREDIT faster. Depending on a player's FAME STATUS, the accumulated CREDIT can be used to go shopping at the AP Rewards Store or exchanged for tournament entries and cash.
To launch the program, Absolute Poker is giving away 23 real diamonds ranging in value from $1,000 to $5,000 through three separate online poker competitions:

- The first five players to earn 10,000 CREDITS in July will each secure a $2,000 diamond. The five players to do the same in August will also win a $2,000 diamond.
- The first five players to hit a diamond straight flush playing $2/$1 poker or higher in July will win a $1,000 diamond. The first five players to do the same in August will also win a $1,000 diamond.
