INM Introduces Corporate eLibrary Quick Start Package

Rich Internet application (RIA) front-end and powerful back-end helps corporate libraries bring collections online

Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) July 17, 2008 -- Integration New Media Inc. (INM), a leader in creating rich user experiences, announced today the availability of a new Corporate eLibrary Quick Start Package for organizations looking to bring volumes of content online. This package is designed to help organizations create rich, web-based digital libraries from collections of documents and other information sources.

"Our INM eLibrary offering has proven to be quite popular with corporate libraries for its ease-of-use and powerful management tools," said Vahe Kassardjian, president and co-founder of INM. "This package is designed to make it even easier for corporate clients, by combining all of the critical features and licenses into one easy package."

Based on INM's popular eLibrary technology, the Corporate eLibrary Quick Start Package was created with the unique needs of the corporate library in mind. The front-end of the application provides end-users with a rich, web-based interface for searching content and viewing documents directly within the web browser. Users can enter a keyword or choose from set search fields to find documents of interest and can then progressively narrow down results. Search results can be viewed in either a list or thumbnail view, and documents can be pulled up immediately on-screen.

A back-end Control Center provides librarians or administrators with the ability to manage users, including setting passwords and adjusting access permissions. Administrators can also manage content from this module, including adding new documents, adjusting categorizations, replacing existing documents, and more. A powerful reporting module is also included to track eLibrary usage trends, to see which content is accessed the most and to view which users are the most active.

INM eLibrary provides corporate librarians with the ability to repurpose existing documents as-is, without the hassles of converting to HTML or other formats. The solution leverages PDF files, an ISO-standard format, which allows organizations to take advantage of the tools and processes they already have in place.

The Corporate eLibrary Quick Start Package includes a customized version of INM eLibrary branded with the organization's logo and colors, custom search criteria, dedicated hosting, all relevant product licenses, as well as first-year maintenance and support. Optional features are also available for organizations looking to add support for rich media files, on-the-fly PDF creation, advanced file management capabilities and more.
