Exosect Underlines Its Ongoing Commitment To Product Development With Two New Appointments

Prof. Geoff Randall OBE joins the board of the leading provider of Intelligent Pest Management Solutions, Dr Clare Storm is promoted to Research Manager & Lead Scientist.

(PRWEB) January 10, 2008 -- Exosect, a leading provider of Intelligent Pest Management solutions, today announced that Prof. Geoff Randall OBE has agreed to join the board of Exosect Ltd as a non-executive director, and Dr Clare Storm has moved up into the position of Research Manager and Lead Scientist from her original role of Senior Scientist.

With more than 40 years experience in the chemical, agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, having occupied senior positions in R&D with ICI/Zeneca/Astra Zeneca and his board and committee work most notably Chairman of the Scientific Committee of ECETOC (Brussels) -- European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals, Prof. Randall will support and expand Exosect's current research and development programme in addition to product safety and IP programmes.

Dr Clare Storm is now responsible for Exosect's research programme, managing all internal and collaborative projects and bringing forward commercially appropriate new product concepts from the R&D pipeline. Clare first joined Exosect as part of a BBSRC funded project to research lure & kill applications on fruit flies. Before Exosect, Clare worked at Rothamsted Research and gained her honours degree in Biological Sciences and her doctorate at University of Wales, Cardiff.
