Johnny Wimbrey, working with Grapevine Star Entertainment, has joined forces with SMS Productions a Los Angeles based creative, production, and management group, to guide Johnny Wimbrey in his expansion from author and internationally known motivational speaker into film, television, and other entertainment forms.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2008 -- Johnny Wimbrey, working with Grapevine Star Entertainment, has joined forces with SMS Productions a Los Angeles based creative, production, and management group, to guide Johnny Wimbrey in his expansion from author and internationally known motivational speaker into film, television, and other entertainment forms.
Wimbrey, 32 is bi-racial, was born and raised in The Hood, trapped in poverty, violence, drug abuse and destined for prison and failure until he suddenly turned his life around and is now an inspiration to people of all races, ages and economic groups throughout the world.

Tom Sarnoff, currently Executive Producer/Story Editor of the new "Gumby" MFV movie, was Head of NBC/West Coast for 20-years in charge of all West Coast NBC productions; in charge of production and worldwide touring of Disney On Parade, Peter Pan, and Yabba Dabba Doo Arena Shows; and served as Executive Producer of four "Bonanza" TV-movies.
Dick Mann, who discovered and introduced Wimbrey to the SMS team, co-created "The Johnny Show" with Jacob R. Miles III and developed "JW", the feature film dramatizing Wimbrey's inspirational life. Mann was the Founder of RME, a programming-production-facilities company; worked for CBS (New York) and Paramount Television (Hollywood); and is co-creator/writer with his wife, Nancy, of screenplays and musical presentations.
Milt Suchin was a Senior Agent at ICM for 10-years; is the long-time personal manager of Phyllis Diller; manages Debbie Reynolds; is an entertainment consultant for several corporations and casinos; and joined Wimbrey, stating: "having been in the talent representation business for 38-years, I feel qualified to say unequivocally that Johnny Wimbrey represents the future of broadcasting, presenting an honest and unique approach to the human side of people ... he has walked the talk."
