Back By Popular Demand at the Workshops@Adorama for February 2008: Nikon Capture NX Seminars, More

Classes include Travel Photography, Color Management, Adobe Photoshop: Understanding Layer & Masks, Managing Your Web Site, Digital Astrophotography, and Adobe After Effects for Still Photographers' Registration for photography classes at Adorama's New York City retail store is open now for photographers at all levels, from beginner to professional. Deadline is January 31.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 19, 2008 -- Registration is open for Adorama Camera's Workshops@Adorama (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=WS_List).
The fast-growing series of on-site photography courses are taught by top working professional photographers and digital photography specialists.

February workshops include new sessions of Nikon Capture NX: Picture All You Can Imagine, which provides in-depth information about Nikon's powerful image-editing and workflow software. The session costs $25 and attendees receive a $25 coupon at the seminar, redeemable at Adorama's retail or online store, so the class is essentially free. Make sure to register soon, the deadline is January 31st, and these classes sell out quickly.

Other February workshops include Travel Photography: Beyond Being There with instructor Arlene Collins, a two-day workshop; Just Add Stills: Adobe After Effects for Still Photographers, with videographer Michael Vitti; Introduction to Digital Astrophotography, with Jim Burnell; as well as workshops in Adobe Photoshop: Understanding Layers and Masks, Color Management and Managing Your Web Site: Seven Secrets to Web Site Optimization.

And there are still a few spaces left for the January 27th Intro to Sports Photography Techniques, with pro shooters Jeff Snyder and Mitchell Layton.

Upcoming workshops in March include Power Presenting: Create Distinctive Photographic Portfolios and Promotional Materials Fine-Tuned for the New York Market; Other March workshops will include, Exploring the Night: Life in New York City, learning the Secrets of Great Photographers, Overcoming Fear of Flash: Lighting Boot Camp, Converting Color Images to B&W in Adobe Photoshop, and a workshop in making a Portfolio and Fine-Art Inkjet Print.

Started in February 2007, Workshops@Adorama consists of a wide range of hands-on picture-taking sessions for snapshooters and enthusiasts, business and technical advice for professional and aspiring photographers, and inspiring presentations by some of the biggest names in the photography world. Over 60 events have been held so far with nearly a thousand attendees.

All classes will take place in the fifth-floor multi-media classrooms at the Adorama Building, 42 West 18th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, in New York City unless otherwise indicated.
