Academy of Art University had one of the hottest booths at Apple's annual Macworld expo.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) January 21, 2008 -- Academy of Art University had one of the hottest booths at Apple's annual Macworld expo. Macworld is one of the most eagerly anticipated events for everyone from business leaders to top designers to tech-junkies. The Academy was at the heart of the expo, just left of the main stage where Apple co-founder, Chairman and CEO Steve Jobs unveiled this year's newest products.

The Academy of Art University booth is a cutting-edge multimedia station where attendees had the exclusive opportunity to check out the latest dynamic student work from the film school, computer arts school, photography school, illustration school, architecture school, interior design school, fashion school, industrial design school, graphic design school, fine arts school, animation school and advertising school. Students had the exhilarating chance to display their work to some of the biggest names in the tech industry.

MPT [Motion Pictures and Television is proud to have a presence at Macworld within the AAU booth, especially given the fact that the entire department runs almost exclusively on Macintosh computers
Attendees were astounded by the brilliance of Academy student work, many of which were created using Apple products. Located in the heart of the booming digital district, Academy of Art University has its finger on the pulse of the latest innovations in technology. The majority of departments use almost entirely Macintosh computers and many Academy of Art University alumni have gone on to work for Apple as well as other exhibitors present at the expo.

"MPT [Motion Pictures and Television is proud to have a presence at Macworld within the AAU booth, especially given the fact that the entire department runs almost exclusively on Macintosh computers," said Jack Isgro, Director of the film school at Academy of Art University.

Surrounded by companies such as Microsoft, Logitech, Epson and Adobe, the Academy was among some of the most respected names in the industry. Academy students use their products everyday to create innovative and awe-inspiring designs as demonstrated at the booth.

Steve Jobs announced Apple's newest laptop, the MacBook Air, just feet away from the Academy's booth.

"This laptop is perfect for computer design students on-the-go," says John Woodbridge, director of Academy of Art University's computer arts school. It is also the most environmentally friendly laptop, which complies with the Academy's dedication to green design.

Macworld Conference & Expo is the world's biggest Macintosh OS event, displaying products and services for professionals as well as for consumers. Macworld Conference & Expo offers attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and hottest products in the Mac industry.

Industry professionals from a variety of companies such as Pixar, Walt Disney Animation and Sony fly in every year to attend Academy of Art University's Annual Spring Show.
