About Gabriel Mireles
Gabriel Mireles is a balladeer, whose lyrics personify his gift as a storyteller. His ballads and love songs place him among the best of today's American songwriters. Mireles draws from the emotions that run deep in each of us, revealing what we have all felt in matters close to the heart. Although currently based in Boston, much of his material is a reflection of his experiences, relationships and social activism in New England as well as in his native Ohio. In 2001, Mireles won the Advance Music Guitar Summit in Burlington, Vermont, playing his instrumental composition, "Herring in a White Wine Sauce".
