The new fine bubble diffuser from SSI significantly reduces or eliminates calcium carbonate fouling. In comparison, typical EPDM or Ceramic diffuser membranes require frequent cleaning with acid due to rapid adherence of calcium carbonate.

"We came across the SSI diffusers and first tried them in the summer of 2005. It was probably the best decision we have made in our [tissue wastewater treatment plant since it started processing water...
