The ProtoCAM website has long been a valuable resource for our customers and for the rapid prototyping industry in general
The new ProtoCAM website provides rich technical information about all of the rapid prototyping technologies that ProtoCAM provides, along with data on rapid prototyping materials. Further, various industry examples and prototyping applications are highlighted, showing the wide depth and breadth of how rapid prototyping is being used.

New in recently revamped website is the ProtoCAM Rapid Prototyping Blog, where ProtoCAM's engineers and rapid prototyping experts will discuss the RP industry and highlight some of the more interesting projects that they are working on. Additional rapid prototyping services such as Polyjet 3D printing, high temperature castings, and short run plastic injection molding are described along with new industry examples such as aerospace and defense (A&D) and architectural models.

Brought forward from the previous version of the website are many valuable and popular features. On the technical side, the website provides a link to a free STL viewer, along with detailed instructions on how to export from various CAD software packages into the STL (stereolithography) file format that is the standard for the rapid prototyping industry. And the popular Stereolithography and RTV Mold animated videos that demonstrate these technologies are also included.

"The ProtoCAM website has long been a valuable resource for our customers and for the rapid prototyping industry in general," said Ray Biery, ProtoCAM's Managing Partner. "The new design makes it more visually appealing and easy to navigate, and makes it easier to contact us for information and to request a quote. The innovative ProtoCAM Rapid Prototyping Blog gives us a new voice to talk about this ever-evolving industry and its technology, and allows our customers and industry experts to interact with us."
