Free Online Travel Guide For Oregon Tourists Updated At USATravelPal.com

Portland, OR (PRWEB) February 3, 2008 -- USATravelPal.com, an online website that will be publishing completed travel guides for all 50 states has completed its Oregon travel guide. Unlike its California travel section which had twelve sections, Oregon just has two: Portland and Greater Oregon.

The Portland section has detailed writeups on 18 travel destinations as well as an overview but it is the Greater Oregon section that is ripe with information. The web site goes into detail on the following travel sections: Ashland, Astoria, Bend, Columbia River Gorge, Crater Lake National Park, Eugene, Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Madras & Warm Springs, Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, Mount Hood, Newberry National Volcanic Monument, Oregon Coast, Pendleton, Salem, Sisters, Steens Mountain, and the Wallowa Mountains. Each of the travel destinations have, on average, about five articles posted about them.

A web site such as this is crucial for any traveler planning a trip as it provides invaluable information in a centralized location. For example, the Crater Lake National Park article states that only the southern roads are open all year round and that the northern entry is closed from October to June. This kind of information helps travelers in making plans when traveling to the USA.

In addition to articles and travel suggestions, USATravelPal.com also provides visitors with pictures, phone numbers, and addresses of each of the major locations represented on the web site.

Other states that are completed are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Montana, Utah, and Washington which well represents the western part of the United States. A road trip is possible.

USATravelPal.com intends to be completed with its online 50 state travel guide book by early 2009. The web site will be completing states one at a time starting from the West and traveling eastwards.
