Jennings-Mazda Retails Newly Launched Mazda 2

Jennings-Mazda co.uk, a leading Franchise dealer group, announced the retail of the newly launched Mazda 2. This B-segment model is characterised by elegant design, fuel efficiency, great functionality, comfort and safety.

UK (PRWEB) February 7, 2008 -- Lighter and faster than its successor, the Mazda 2 is expected to occupy a significant place in the European supermini market.

The new Mazda 2 is redesigned to meet customer's needs and expectations. When developing the new Mazda 2, it's obvious that customer feedback and worldwide standards for safety and performance have been taken into account. With sharp contours, polished moves and a spacious cabin, the Mazda 2 TS2 and Mazda 2 Sport models are fantastically easy to drive.

"Each new generation of 'superminis' is getting larger and heavier. Inevitably, this makes them slower, thirstier and less agile", said Dale Gillespie, the managing director of Jennings-Mazda.co.uk. "The all new Mazda 2 is different. It's lighter, making it faster, more fuel-efficient and more fun to drive."

Made of high-tensile steel, the new Mazda 2 (http://www.jennings-mazda.co.uk/newcars/2) weighs only 955 kg and 960 kg (with the 1.3-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre petrol engine, respectively). Thus, carbon dioxide emissions are lower than in other supermini models. Weight-saving techniques also reduce vibration and noise. Each new Mazda 2 has either standard or optional equipments, such as air conditioning, sports styling kits, front and rear electric windows, cruise control, seat heating and a lot more of the latest features to choose from.

"Whichever level you choose - Mazda 2 TS, Mazda 2 TS2 or Mazda 2 Sport - a pleasurable driving experience is assured," acknowledged Gillespie. "The level of finish and an attention to detail is bound to impress".

Special attention in the new Mazda 2 is paid to dynamic movement and a Zoom-Zoom concept. The car's forms and lines accentuate visual movements, creating an impression of flexibility, power and speed.

Although produced and initially sold in Japan, the new Mazda 2 is targeted at the European market. With Mazda's three-year warranty and 1.4-litre diesel engine, this new model will certainly suit the needs of European customers.
