Great Valentine's Day eBook For Singles -- 2 Years, 25 Guys, My True Online Dating Story

"This is like Sex and The City, but it's real." A new eBook chronicles the seemingly endless saga that is online dating, just in time for Valentine's Day. This true story follows 23-year-old Nicki Milano for two years as she dates 25 men online.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 8, 2008 -- A new eBook chronicles the seemingly endless saga that is online dating, just in time for Valentine's Day. This true story follows 23-year-old Nicki Milano for two years as she dates 25 men online.

She's just one of the 40 Million Americans currently online dating. Nearly half the single US population dates online, according to surveys.

"This is like Sex and the City, but it's real," said Milano. "These are the stories your friends won't tell you -- the real-life ups, downs, love, lies and everything in between."

When asked what online dating is really like, Milano replied, "It's difficult, but I learned a huge amount. I wrote this book from my own diaries -- I hope this helps others realize it's not just them."

The author used Match.com, eHarmony.com, and MySpace.com.

She dated a fighter pilot, rich entrepreneur, call center worker, cop, artist (with a secret girlfriend), lawyer, Manhattan businessman, underwater construction diver, several engineers, a skater dude, and many more in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nicki begins the story as a mousy 23-year-old writer healing from a break-up with her only boyfriend. Over the next two years she re-invents herself.

Sipping wine, elaborate dessert platters, ballroom dancing, and midnight picnics top Milano's best date list.

Worst dates include dive bars, Denny's, the Brokeback Mountain date, and having a man lick her eye.

The 131 page eBook is honest, raw and real. Amazing first dates, awful ones, great relationships, heartbreak, disappointment, rejection, and all the other roller coaster emotions that go into single life and dating.

An excerpt:
"Did they think the guy I was walking with was my boyfriend? Did they know I had another date with a different guy tomorrow at noon? And another guy Friday at nine? Sometimes I wondered what the host at the Cheesecake Factory thought. I showed up there so often, always with different guys. He probably thought I was some sort of escort, or slut - I was neither. I just wanted what everyone else wanted - someone that makes you crazy and happy. A person you just understand"

At the end of the book, the author decides to move to New York City. She currently resides in Manhattan and is working on a second book about dating in New York.
