Entrepreneur of SKJ Lifestyles Handbags Announces New Plans in Moving Her Vision Forward

Wendy Gillette is a woman on a mission, a woman with a vision for using her business, SKJ Lifestyles to inspire her clients, her community and her children through the growth of her high-end designer handbags. Gillette is making entrepreneurial moves into unique retail experiences and locations.

Sherburne, NY (PRWEB) February 9, 2008 -- Wendy L. Gillette, a designer of high-end handbags and founder/owner of SKJ Lifestyles is expanding her entrepreneurial vision by taking her handbags direct to the consumer in some new venues.

In addition to the current sales on the web site, SKJ Lifestyles is headed to New York City for a unique "Girls Night Out" show on March 7th, sponsored by Shecky's, a multi-platform media company known for its consumer shopping events.

But, we do know that consumers are loving our designs and that we are following our vision of impacting our community through SKJ Lifestyles.

"We're also finding some exciting retail opportunities," said Gillette. "We're in talks with a high-end salon on Madison Avenue and would be the first SKJ designs offered in New York City.

Gillette adds that a retail opportunity is also opening in an International Outlet in Africa. "We're not sure where all of these opportunities will take us," noted Gillette. "But, we do know that consumers are loving our designs and that we are following our vision of impacting our community through SKJ Lifestyles."

Gillette notes that Madison Avenue and Africa could be pretty heady deals, but she stays grounded with her plans for a local boutique and café in her her hometown of Sherburne, NY. Renovations are currently underway at 125 Country Road 20, in Sherburne, that will house the company headquarters as well as a boutique and a café.

Gillette's efforts inspire her children and provide great possibilities for her community as well. This is being done by bringing in clientèle from other areas, which will help the local economy and create numerous jobs, while reaching globally with their handbag designs.

Gillette also states that by mid spring they plan to unveil two new designs to the public.
