Back by Popular Demand: Adorama Camera's "100 in 100" Free Photography Tips Series, Part II, Launches February 18

Retailer's online photo 'zine to post 100 more tips over the next 20 week

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 11, 2008 -- When Adorama ran "100 in 100" last fall, as part of its AIRC Learning Center, serving up 100 photography tips in 100 days, the response was overwhelming. Now,thanks to popular demand, 100 in 100 is back. "100 in 100, Part II" (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?article=100in100_II&op=academy_new), launches next Monday, with new tips to help people become better photographers. A new tip will be posted every day, Monday-Friday, for 20 weeks from February 18 - July 4, 2008.

"Traffic tripled when we ran 100 in 100 last fall," notes AIRC Learning Center editor Mason Resnick. "The feedback was incredible. We got email from readers telling us it was the most useful information they'd found online. When it was over, people wanted more, and we're getting ready to deliver."

The tips range from basics for snapshooters to advanced techniques for hobbyists and pros. "You never what you're going to get from one day to the next," notes Resnick. "We have some surprises in store for the next 20 weeks."

One of the differences from the original 100 in 100 and Part II is that many weeks will consists of tips centered around a theme, such as dealing with low light, action photography, using inkjet printers, macro photography, and more.

Week 1 will concentrate on giving photographers the tools and knowledge they need to overcome problems that arise when there isn't sufficient light in a scene and they can't use a flash. Specific tips will include showing the difference in low-light image quality between digital SLRs and compact digital cameras; how to apply noise reduction techniques in Adobe Photoshop, and choosing the best camera settings for low light..

The language is relatively non-technical, so anyone can learn, no matter what experience they have. "I believe that everyone who checks in for our daily tips and puts them into practice can improve their photography," notes Resnick. "Readers can expect a wide variety of suggestions. Everyone, from snapshooters through professional photographers, will see an improvement in their photography over the next 100 days if they put these tips into practice."

Resnick is inviting bloggers and webmasters with photo-related content to link to "100 in 100 Part II," (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?article=100in100_II&op=academy_new). "If you have photography-related content on your site, this will add value to it," he notes.

Daily and weekly summaries will be available via the AIRC's News Desk RSS feed (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=NewsDesk_Home).
