The benefit is set to bring awareness to the mudslides, floods and destruction of the local watershed brought about by irresponsible logging practices.

"Being environmentally aware is everyone's responsibility," said Eric Horton, DigNit founder, musician and environmentalist. "The problems caused by irresponsible logging are right in my own backyard. I see the erosion and the trauma caused and wonder what the situation and damage will be in five years, ten or even 25 years down the road. Bringing awareness to this local crisis will ultimately save countless acres of environmentally-sensitive land."
In support of NAIL, Shrink Circus, a Santa Cruz Mountains based band who writes and records original heavy rock in their recording studio known at "The Cave" will entertain with their recent album No Lust For Result that can be heard at: http://www.dignit.com/members/2/music.php. Joining Shrink Circus is the psychobilly rock band Motorpunx. All members of the DigNit community have the option to hear, download and review original music from both bands.
