Twins Chad and James Hampton Write Secrets of the Hunt -- A Book That Reveals Christ Through Lessons Learned While Hunting

Chad and James Hampton, 30, of North Branch, Michigan, write a compelling new book, Secrets of the Hunt, which in their estimation, reveals a correlation between the act of hunting and the act of seeking God.

North Branch, MI (PRWEB) February 13, 2008 -- Holy Fire Publishing releases Secrets of the Hunt (Paperback, US$9.99, ISBN# 978-1-60383-055-3). Co-authors Chad and James Hampton write a fictional narrative of a man on the hunt for a whitetail buck. The narrative is paralleled in the book by an instructive search for God.

In Secrets of the Hunt, the Hamptons use the familiarity of the hunting season to appeal to men in their pursuit of God. According to the authors, God instructs us in Jeremiah 29:13 to "seek Him with all of our heart." Similarly, the Hamptons' book instructs men how to seek God in the same way, and with the same enthusiasm, that they hunt whitetail deer.

The authors say that Secrets of the Hunt illustrates that the same secrets required to harvest the whitetail buck are the same secrets required to experience the most fulfilling harvest of our lives: knowing God and His plan for us.

"We can't harvest a monster buck unless we are hunting for him, and we can't harvest the purpose and plan God has for us unless we are hunting God." -Chad Hampton

The Hamptons write that the ultimate motive in our hunt for God is our love for Him. Since the time we found out how much God really loves us, we have been motivated to seek Him and His plan for our lives. Just as positioning yourself in an isolated and quiet place to bag the big one on your hunt is important, the authors believe it is just as important to pick an area where you can get away from distractions, be still, and hear what God says.

Chad Hampton, 30, is single and lives in North Branch, Michigan. He is an associate pastor at a church in Mayville, Michigan, and is founder of Your Future Is Now Ministries and The Believers Business Network. His brother, James, is founder of Huntin' the Truth Ministries, which is an outreach of Your Future is Now Ministries. He is married to wife Susan, and they have two children.

Book signings will begin the first week of March and will be held at Scraphappy store in North Branch on Mar. 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Mar. 6 at North Branch Public Library from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Web site: www.yfinministries.com .
