Long Island Junior Soccer League Selects SportsSignup to Take Their Registration Online

Company announces 3 year agreement to provide roster management, online registration, and risk management (coach & volunteer background checks) services to the league and its 95+ member clubs.

Latham, NY (PRWEB) February 14, 2008 -- Long Island Junior Soccer League, Inc. (LIJSL), one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the United States, today announced a 3 year agreement with SportsSignup to provide roster management, online registration, and risk management (coach & volunteer background checks) services to the league and its member clubs. SportsSignup's system allows players to register online via a web-based interface that managed independently by each local soccer club. Club administrators can then submit rosters electronically from the system directly to LIJSL, eliminating the need for a "paper chain" or visits to the league office.

"We evaluated a number of online registration and management systems and SportsSignup not only had a mature and proven service, but was able to provide the integration assistance to tie into our existing processes," said Joan Czach, executive director of LIJSL. "We are looking forward to implementing the system for our 2008/2009 season so we can move away from the paper-based process and deal only with electronic roster submissions and approvals," continued Czach.

SportsSignup's service platform was designed to meet the needs of state soccer associations, leagues, and their member soccer clubs. Integration between member clubs, LIJSL, and its parent state organization, Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is seamless, as SportsSignup is also the service provider for roster management and online coach/volunteer background checking for ENYYSA.
