Ford Makes Canadian Invention Available to Dealerships (The SHAKER Wiper De-icer Plus)

Wiper Shaker Technology Inc. (WST) is pleased to announce the first shipment of its latest consumer version of the SHAKER Wiper De-icer Plus, to Ford Component Sales (FCS). FCS officially announced availability of the SHAKER to their U.S. Dealerships, January 31, 2008. Using vibration, the SHAKER quickly helps rid wipers of trapped frozen debris that causes windshield streaking and thus, impair a driver's vision.

Ottawa, Canada (PRWEB) February 15, 2008 -- Wiper Shaker Technology Inc. (WST) is pleased to announce the first shipment of its latest consumer version of the SHAKER Wiper De-icer Plus, to Ford Component Sales (FCS). FCS officially announced availability of the SHAKER, exclusively through WST, to their U.S. Dealer network, January 31, 2008. "We are proud to have this affiliation with Ford, as they are heavily focused on safety, which fits very well with the SHAKER. This represents an exciting achievement for WST, in having the SHAKER become a Ford Licensed Accessory. We look forward to providing Ford customers with this safety innovation to help maintain wiper blade performance during inclement winter conditions," said Mike Kelly, President of Wiper Shaker Technology Inc.

Ford customers will benefit from a 3 year warranty on the SHAKER and need only reference the "Ford Licensed Accessory" part # A8FCS-17526-A when visiting their local Ford Dealership.

The patented, innovative SHAKER simply clamps onto a vehicle's existing wiper arm / blade assembly. Once activated, from inside the vehicle, the tiny, yet powerful SHAKER induces a momentary vibration to help rid the wiper blade of trapped frozen debris that could otherwise cause windshield streaking and thus, impair a driver's vision. Over 200,000 vehicle accidents occur each year in North America during snow and sleet visibility situations, many resulting in fatalities. The SHAKER is a proven technology of choice, that has been used for years by professional drivers, e.g., U.S. and Canadian Highway Snow Plow departments etc. Professional drivers know how effective the SHAKER is in the toughest winter conditions and now, through Ford Dealerships, everyday drivers can get the same technology working for them!

Please visit your local Ford Dealer and / or WST at www.wipershaker.com for additional information e.g., FAQ's, Testimonials, and Demos, etc.

Ford Component Sales, LLC is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.
