Tempe Festival of the Arts, Circle K Tempe Music Festival Coming This March

Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau welcomes Tempe Festival of the Arts, Circle K Tempe Music Festival to the Mill Avenue District.

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) February 29, 2008 - Arts and music lovers will feel right at home in Tempe (www.tempecvb.com) this spring during the Tempe Arts & Entertainment Weekend. Visitors can explore both the Tempe Festival of the Arts and the Circle K Tempe Music Festival, which will take place the last weekend in March.

The Tempe Festival of the Arts, presented by Centerpoint Condominiums, will fill the Mill Avenue District with more than 400 artists representing 18 visual art categories that range from digital photography to woodworking to jewelry to painting. The three day festival, March 28-30, 2008, presents a wide variety of unique and hand-made artwork. Visitors will also be treated to live music on the Qwest Main Stage, the Arizona Wine Festival, a cottage edibles section and hands-on activities for children. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Circle K Tempe Music Festival at Tempe Beach Park is a chance for patrons to enjoy nonstop music from over 30 bands while also browsing the Tempe Festival of the Arts. Anyone attending the Music Festival on Saturday will be allowed to leave to attend the Tempe Festival of the Arts and gain re-entry to the Music Festival until 6:00 pm. The Music Festival features multiple stages with local, regional and national headliners, food booths and music-themed activities for both adults and children. Festival hours are from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, March 28, and from noon to midnight on Saturday, March 29.

Playing host to the Tempe Arts & Entertainment Weekend, the Mill Avenue District features over 100 unique shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
