CRN Digital Talk Radio to Launch First-ever Lou Dobbs Radio Show

The Lou Dobbs Show Scheduled to Premiere March 3, 2008

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2008 -- CRN Digital Talk Radio (CRN), today announced plans to launch "The Lou Dobbs Show." Starting March 3, 2008, the 3-hour, weekday radio program featuring the CNN Anchor will air on CRN-4, Monday through Friday at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET.

"Lou Dobbs is a broadcaster with integrity, quality, plenty of charisma, and one of America's most independent and influential voices," said Michael J. Horn, founder and CEO of CRN. "We are excited to bring Lou to the millions of Americans that listen to Talk Radio in their homes."

We are excited to bring Lou to the millions of Americans that listen to Talk Radio in their homes.
Produced by United Stations Radio Networks, Inc., "The Lou Dobbs Show" will air live, via satellite. An award-winning Broadcast Journalist and Author, Dobbs has been an innovator in the news programming and reporting arena for over twenty-five years. Dobbs has won an impressive list of major awards for television journalism, such as the prestigious Peabody Award, a Horatio Alger Association Award, and two Emmys, including one for Lifetime Achievement. In addition to serving as Anchor and Managing Editor of CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight," the veteran newsman is the Author of three best sellers: Exporting America, War on the Middle Class, and his latest release, Independents Day. While most Talk Radio content is either ultra Conservative or Liberal, Dobbs plans to take the same position with the radio show that he has in his recent books, and that is the role of the independent pluralist - examining issues and promoting points of view that are for the common good of all Americans.

In a prepared statement, Mr., Dobbs said: "The political climate is rapidly changing. Independents are registering at an unprecedented rate and will determine the outcome of the 2008 election. I'm excited to be adding my voice to the talk show arena and have the opportunity, along with my listeners, to help enrich our national dialogue."

Launched by radio veteran, Michael J Horn in 1983, CRN Digital Talk Radio (AKA Cable Radio Network) is the exclusive provider of Talk Radio content to the cable television industry. CRN's service broadcast 24-hours of audio in HD via six channels, and features a programming slate encompassing more than 100 syndicated and original shows. CRN is carried via cable systems worldwide, including Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Comcast Cable. In addition to cable, CRN distributes Talk Radio content to satellite, broadcast radio and via the Internet through www.crntallk.com.
