Debut Album From Recording Artist Jiggy Released to iTunes and the World

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) March 4, 2008 -- Jake Records today, in association with Takeover Music Group, announces the worldwide release of the album "Jiggy" by Northern California recording artist Jiggy. The self-titled album was released today on the iTunes music store, and is also available at Amazon.com, Napster, Rhapsody and several others.

Jiggy, a well-known radio station DJ at Northern California station Power 94 (KEWB), has been a musical force in the state for years. He won the 2005 Modesto Music Awards "Best Hip Hop Artist" category, and won the 2006 Stockton Hip Hop Awards for the same. His catchy singles have received airplay up and down the state earning him a reputation for his fun Hip Hop lyrics and fresh style. Not to be confused with the average
MC of today, Jiggy brings a certain pop flare to his music. Never one to avoid a battle, Jiggy also carries a reputation for being a skilled freestyle rapper.

Noteable singles on this album include "Irresistible" a fun track with a throwback vibe musically, the single is both catchy and worth bobbing your head to. Jiggy shows off his shoe obsession in the aptly named "Nikes" track, and goes a bit darker on the "They Wanna Hate" single, making light of those who would hate on a successful MC.
