Sinus Buster has entered the women's natural health category with the first over the counter nasal spray designed to relieve female menstrual symptoms. As featured in the spring issue of Ms. Fitness magazine, Sinus Buster's new Women's Formula is a breakthrough for relieving a variety of menstrual symptoms.

Albany, NY (PRWEB) March 5, 2008 -- Sinus Buster has entered the women's natural health category with the first over the counter (OTC) nasal spray designed to relieve female menstrual symptoms. As featured in the spring issue of Ms. Fitness magazine, Sinus Buster's new Women's Formula is a breakthrough for relieving a variety of menstrual symptoms.

The capsaicin relieves menstrual headaches almost instantly for most women, and the added botanicals help with cramping, swelling and mood swings. Along with the pepper extract, we use Chaste Berry, Wild Yam and Passion Flower to deliver fast results without the side effects of traditional drugs
Launched by SiCap Industries in 2003 as the first OTC headache nasal spray, the Sinus Buster brand has gained enormous retail distribution in only a few short years. Today there are nine different Sinus Buster formulas sold in nearly 12,000 stores throughout North America, and their new Women's Formula is perhaps the most innovative of the bunch.

Aside from using Capsaicin, the active component of hot peppers as a pain reliever, Sinus Buster researchers have also discovered that capsaicin can be used as a delivery agent for other botanical extracts. While traditional menstrual products are sold in pill form, Sinus Buster's women's formula uses intranasal application to penetrate the Blood-Brain Barrier delivering fast relief for a variety of menstrual related symptoms.

"The capsaicin relieves menstrual headaches almost instantly for most women, and the added botanicals help with cramping, swelling and mood swings. Along with the pepper extract, we use Chaste Berry, Wild Yam and Passion Flower to deliver fast results without the side effects of traditional drugs," says Wayne Perry, president of SiCap Industries.

SiCap has been test marketing their new women's formula through independent retailers and over the internet since 2007, but recent media attention has attracted interest from major retail chains. According to SiCap's management, the female menstruation market lacks innovation.

"We believe that women are tired of facing their monthly periods without natural relief. Pharmaceutical pain relievers only mask the symptoms, but they don't target the root causes. Our natural nasal spray goes straight into the system to relieve hormonal imbalances that lead to a bad period," adds Perry.
